Delta Air Lines will continue to block the center seat of its aircraft until January 6, 2021, a measure that the company adopted, along with limiting passengers per flight, as an initiative to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The blocking of these seats will be enhanced on Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort + and Main Cabin through the application and the web. For customers traveling in groups of one or two, the center seat will be blocked for safety, while groups of three or more may travel together using all seats.
In view of the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus, the airline continues to allow free changes until September 30. In addition, it will maintain a series of security measures until October 31, such as a limit on the number of customers on board.
On routes where planes start to fill up, Delta will try to increase space by using a larger model aircraft or by adding more frequencies.
