Singapore Airlines (SIA) will return to New York on November 9, when it will once again connect Singapore and John F. Kennedy International Airport on the longest passenger flight in the world.

The route will be operated by an Airbus A350-900. This aircraft is configured with 42 Business Class, 24 Premium Economy Class and 187 Economy Class seats.
The flight will depart Singapore at 02:25 and land at JFK at 07:30. It will last 18 hours and 5 minutes and will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

From New York the flight will take off at 22:30, landing at Changi Airport at 06:10 (+2 days). It will last 18 hours 40 minutes and will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Currently, SIA operates non-stop services to Los Angeles. It will continue to review its operations to the United States and assess the growing demand for air travel in the midst of the ongoing recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, before deciding to restore services to other parts of the country.
“Operating these flights between Singapore and New York’s JFK International Airport represents an important step in rebuilding our global network. Ultra-long non-stop services are the foundation of our services to the key U.S. market,” said Lee Lik Hsin, Executive Vice President, Commercial, Singapore Airlines.
