The Brazilian airline Gol reported that it made its first technical flight with the Boeing 737 MAX 8, adding that the plane will return to the company’s operation progressively in the coming weeks.
On November 18, the U.S. Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) approved the return of jet flights, a move which was followed by Brazil’s ANAC on Wednesday, reported Reuters.

The company indicated that the technical flight had representatives from Anac and Boeing on board, and was commanded by Gol pilots recently trained in the US, according to new recommendations from the authorities.
“As part of the prerequisites for the resumption of service on the 737 MAX, there will be technical flights without passengers on each of the company’s seven aircraft in the coming days,” added Gol.
