Qatar Airways and Air Canada announced the signing of a code-share agreement applicable to travel between Doha and Toronto. Sales have begun with the first code-share flight that will operate from December 15, 2020.

Qatar Airways passengers can now enjoy continuous, one-stop connections to and from Toronto through Hamad International Airport. Air Canada passengers will benefit from the ability to book travel on Qatar Airways flights between Toronto and Doha and thereafter to more than 75 destinations in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
“We are pleased to secure this strategic code-share agreement with Air Canada to provide our travellers with seamless travel to and from Toronto with excellence in state-of-the-art, sustainable aircraft, safety, comfort and in-flight service. The agreement will increase choice for thousands of passengers and enable seamless connectivity to a significant number of new destinations, particularly throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Building on our complementary strengths, this agreement will also provide benefits to help the recovery of international travel,” said Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker.
