A Spirit Airlines plane skidded off the taxiway at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) Thursday morning after a powerful winter storm created slippery conditions, CNN reported.

Field Sutton, a spokesman for Spirit Airlines, said Spirit Flight 696 landed safely at BWI from Las Vegas, but the plane slipped off the taxiway on its way to the terminal. No passengers were injured, he added.
