Airbus delivers 21 aircraft in January and receives no new orders.
European aircraft manufacturer Airbus recorded a total of 21 commercial aircraft deliveries to 15 customers in January, compared to 31 last year, and did not receive any new orders in a context marked by the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on airlines and the aviation sector.
Specifically, three A220 aircraft were delivered; 16 A320 family aircraft (four CEO and twelve NEO), one A330neo and one A350, the manufacturer said Friday.

The company did not register any new orders, nor did it receive any cancellations of orders already placed.
In total, Airbus’ order backlog as of January 2021 stands at 7,163 aircraft.
