Wingo announced that as of March 28 it will begin operating its new direct international route between Medellin (Colombia) and Cancun (Mexico).
Initially, the route will have two weekly frequencies (Thursday and Sunday), and will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft with capacity for 186 passengers.

“As of March 28, we will start operations between Medellin and Cancun with the flexibility, low prices, safety and good vibes that characterize us,” said Carolina Cortizo, CEO of Wingo.
The Medellin-Cancun route will have fares starting at US$218 roundtrip, including the first change of date for free.
