Airbus delivers 125 aircraft the first quarter.

European manufacturer Airbus posted a slight increase in deliveries in the first quarter of the year, with 125 aircraft delivered to airlines after a sharp increase in activity in March, company data showed Thursday.

Airbus also recorded 39 gross orders, including a new deal for 20 A220 aircraft to an unidentified buyer, Reuters reported.

But the company saw the number of net orders – which are adjusted for cancellations – remain in negative territory during the first quarter, with a total of minus 61 net orders dominated by a Norwegian cancellation revealed in the previous month.
