Lufthansa Group announced that it plans to resume direct flights between Frankfurt and Panama City as of March 2022. The route will have three weekly frequencies, the company reported on its website.
The airline also said that from the same date it will resume flights from Munich to Cancun (Mexico) and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), with two weekly frequencies to each destination.
“In the Lufthansa Group, and particularly in this region, we are delighted to be able to offer direct flights between Frankfurt and Panama City again as of summer 2022, as well as to be able to directly connect the Bavarian capital Munich with Cancun and Punta Cana,” said Lufthansa Group’s general manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, Felipe Bonifatti.
