The Spanish airline Iberia is gradually recovering its activity and, at the same time, has returned to the top of the punctuality podium.
According to the FlightStats consultancy, during May 96.1% of Iberia flights arrived on time at their destination, making it the most punctual in the world among global airlines. Iberia operated 3,497 flights last month, down 60% compared to May 2019.
For its part, Iberia Express achieved a 97.3% on-time arrival rate in May, which also places it as the most punctual low-cost airline in Europe. Iberia Express operated 1,194 flights last month, down 60% compared to May 2019.
These results reflect the commitment shown by all Iberia and Iberia Express teams in Production, Airports, Maintenance, Commercial… throughout the pandemic. Now that the airlines are gradually recovering their activity, all areas are making an effort to offer the best possible travel experience to customers.
