United Airlines took delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX 8 on Sunday. The aircraft departed Boeing Field in Seattle for the company’s Newark hub.

The airline plans to begin flights with the aircraft in July and by the end of the year expects to be operating 13 MAX 8 aircraft.
United has 188 MAX orders, but this Tuesday the airline is expected to announce a mega-order for up to 200 737 MAX aircraft, according to sources.
