Emirates Airlines announced Friday the resumption of its flights to Glasgow, United Kingdom, from August 11 through October 30.
The route will operate four weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) on Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, which have a two-class configuration, offering premium Business Class and Economy Class services. Starting in September, the airline will increase frequency to one daily service.

With the UAE moving onto the UK’s ‘amber’ list for travel on Sunday 8 August, travellers arriving in the UK from Dubai no longer need to quarantine in a government-approved hotel, provided they are fully vaccinated.
“Emirates welcomes the decision to add the UAE to the UK’s ‘amber list’ for international travel, reflecting the extensive steps that have been taken to mitigate the spread of the virus in the UK and UAE”, Adnan Kazim, Emirates Chief Commercial Officer said.
