This new order brings the company’s order book to 80 A220-300s, making it the second largest customer for the family after Delta Air Lines. The first of the A220s is expected to be delivered on October 26.
Paint work on the first aircraft was completed at the Airbus facility in Mobile, Alabama, which will deliver approximately one A220 per month to Breeze over the next six and a half years. The airline plans to begin flying the fleet of Airbus aircraft in the second quarter of 2022.
