Icelandic airline PLAY reported Thursday that it is putting tickets on sale for its flights to and from Boston and Washington D.C. in the United States. Flights from Baltimore/Washington International Airport will begin April 20, 2022, and service from Boston Logan International Airport will begin May 11, 2022. The flights will be operated on Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft.

Starting today, travelers can book tickets between Boston and Baltimore/Washington and PLAY’s European destinations, including Iceland, London, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Brussels, Stavanger, Trondheim and Gothenburg, among others.
This is an important milestone for PLAY, marking the second phase of the business model by offering travelers the option to connect via Iceland between multiple destinations in Europe and North America.
