A proposal to rename the international airport of Palma de Mallorca with the name of Rafael Nadal was announced through Change.org.

In case it succeeds, it will have to be approved by AENA, an entity that has already approved changes in the nomenclature of Spanish airports.
“I have no idea about all that, but I would be delighted with life. If people think it’s right and positive for the island, delighted,” Nadal responded upon arriving in Spain after winning his 21st Grand Slam title.
