LATAM will move its International Operations to new Terminal 2 at Santiago Airport

Starting next Wednesday, March 2, LATAM Airlines will move its international passenger operation to the new Terminal 2 at the Santiago de Chile Airport, beginning with flight LA2370 (destination Lima, departure time 5:35 am).

In order to minimize the inconvenience of this change to your passengers’ experience, the airline recommended:

  1. Anticipate showing up at the airport 4 hours before departure of an international flight.
  2. Once you arrive at the airport, present yourself at LATAM’s self-check-in counters. If you need to check baggage, you can do so at the islands located from zone H to the west of the new terminal. If you require assistance, go to the special service counter.
  3. If you are making a connecting flight from a domestic to an international destination (or vice versa), consider the transfer times between terminals, which can reach up to 15 minutes walking.
  4. In the case of a connection from an international to a domestic destination, you will need to pick up your baggage upon arrival in Chile and re-check it at Terminal 1.
  5. Consider the travel time between the check-in area of the new terminal and the boarding gate, which can take up to 15 minutes.

Domestic flights will continue to operate at the current terminal.
