Volaris El Salvador will begin direct flights to the United States in April, after receiving the Foreign Air Operator Permit from the US Department of Transportation.
The company will begin flights three times per week between El Salvador and New York as of April 28, with prices starting at US$ 99.
→ Aeromexico will resume flights to London in April.
Starting May 6, it will begin operating three weekly frequencies to Washington Dulles International Airport. On May 13, it will begin daily flights to Los Angeles.
“the new flights that we will offer on direct routes will allow us to bring together families and friends, as well as expand the range of international destinations for those seeking leisure travel,” said Ronny Rodriguez, general manager of Volaris El Salvador.
“This authorization is a recognition of our commitment to operational safety and ratifies the confidence of the U.S. authorities in the Volaris family,” added Rodriguez.
