Mexican airline Viva Aerobus launched its new brand campaign ‘Déjate Volar’ (Let yourself fly), focused on improving the overall travel experience of its passengers, from the purchase of the ticket to the final landing, through two pillars: a renewed service promise and an enriched offer.

Viva Aerobus began operations at the new Mexico City Airport.

Consequently, in line with the first pillar, a series of strategic improvements were implemented in the passenger service processes and the means of contact were diversified to provide shorter response times. As a result, Viva reaffirmed its commitment to respond to any doubt, question or complaint in less than 72 hours through its digital channels: social networks, e-mail and customer service portal.

This is in addition to the uninterrupted telephone service 365 days a year in the call center, the chat with the Viva Bot -available on WhatsApp, Messenger and Webchat- to resolve frequent questions, and timely notifications by email, SMS or phone call in case of itinerary changes. In this way, Viva strengthens a 24/7, agile, close and simple accompaniment to its passengers throughout their trip.

Viva Aerobus announces new routes to Medellin from Mexico City and Cancun.

The second pillar of this campaign consists of an enriched offer. On the one hand, in line with the airline’s growth plans, Viva has already launched three new routes for sale during the first months of the year: Mexico City – Nuevo Laredo, Mexico City – Medellín and Cancún – Medellín. It also increased its Mexico City – Bogota route to two daily flights, reinstated the Monterrey – Havana service and inaugurated flights from Monterrey and Guadalajara to the new Felipe Angeles International Airport in Mexico City.

On the other hand, the airline has also strengthened its offer of packages so that each passenger can tailor-make his or her trip and pay only for what he or she needs. Now, through “Viva Viajes” it is possible to reserve a hotel room; rent a house or apartment; book a cultural, adventure or gastronomic tour; rent a car or complement the trip with ground transportation, all through Viva Aerobus.

Also, in order to offer a new payment alternative to facilitate the purchase of tickets to all those who do not have a debit or credit card, the airline implemented Viva Cash. Now, it is possible to make a cash deposit in any of the authorized establishments such as supermarkets or convenience stores to make the payment securely, quickly and with the possibility of obtaining cashback to pay for other flights with Viva.

“The ‘Déjate Volar’ concept seeks to convey our commitment to make each flight a much more agile, simple, easy process and with an accompaniment at all times so that passengers only worry about enjoying their trip and, precisely, let themselves be flown by Viva with low prices, flexibility, the youngest aircraft in Mexico and more than 130 domestic and international routes,” said Karla Vargas, Marketing Director of Viva Aerobus.
