“We are delighted to offer daily nonstop service between Toronto and Chicago, two dynamic global cities,” said John Weatherill, WestJet’s chief commercial officer. “Our new cross-border route gives passengers more options to discover these two vibrant cities or connect seamlessly to their destination of choice across our extensive network.”
This summer, WestJet is also re-establishing transatlantic connectivity and adding more convenient and affordable non-stop options from Toronto to five European destinations – Barcelona, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London-Gatwick.
“Our passengers have been waiting a long time for a return to international travel,” Weatherill said. “These routes create a significant flow of visitors from Europe and demonstrate WestJet’s commitment to leading the recovery of the travel and tourism industry.”
