The Colombian airline Sarpa began operations in Panama on Tuesday, April 12, according to a press release issued by Panama’s Civil Aeronautics Authority on Thursday.
The company will operate charter flights from Medellín, Cali and Barranquilla, Colombia, in Embraer 145 aircraft, with capacity for 50 passengers.

These flights will arrive at the Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport and will only transport Colombian passengers or tourists who wish to visit the most attractive tourist attractions in Panama, according to the Civil Aeronautical Authority of the Central American country.
“With the reactivation of air tourism, Panama’s Master Plan for Sustainable Tourism is being implemented by the National Government”.
