Jacinto Lara Airport in Barquisimeto (Venezuela) is ready to resume its international operations with Venezolana, the company in charge of reactivating international flights to destinations such as Panama and Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) as from April 25.
The frequency of flights to Panama will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, while flights to the Dominican Republic will be on Thursdays and Sundays.
→ Laser Airlines facilitates connections on domestic and international routes.
Thanks to these new frequencies, the inhabitants of Barquisimeto and other cities in the central western part of the country will be able to enjoy international flights and cargo service without having to travel to Valencia or Caracas.
For José Iriarte, marketing director of the Venezuelan airline, these new routes: “contribute to the commercial and tourist strengthening of the state of Lara, without forgetting neighboring cities such as Barinas, San Carlos, Acarigua or Guanare, who will be able to purchase commercial tickets, transport cargo or parcels and transport live animals”.
