Volaris announces new San Jose – Bogota route starting in June

Volaris Costa Rica will fly between San José and Bogotá (Colombia) as of June 20, the airline announced.

The new route will operate three weekly frequencies (Monday, Thursday and Saturday) on Airbus A320 aircraft.

Colombian Sarpa starts operations in Panama.

“Reaching Colombia with the lowest fares in the market represents a unique opportunity to promote tourism, economic and cultural exchange between two countries with an exceptional vocation and attractiveness,” said Ronny Rodriguez, director of Institutional Relations for Volaris Central America.

In this way, Bogota joins the direct routes that Volaris Costa Rica operates to El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico City, Cancun and Lima (starting June 3), as well as connecting routes to Washington, Los Angeles and New York.
