The Civil Aviation Board (JAC) of the Dominican Republic authorized Venezuelan airline Turpial Airlines to operate the Caracas-Santo Domingo-Caracas route.
“This operator will operate sixteen flights (round trip) on the Caracas-Santo Domingo-Caracas route from May 6 to June 27, 2022, with two weekly frequencies (Mondays and Fridays) on Boeing 737-400 aircraft,” the entity said.

This new route complements the one currently operated by the airline between Valencia and Santo Domingo.
Turpial Airlines has an operating license in force in the Dominican Republic until May 5, 2023, which authorizes it to provide scheduled passenger, cargo and mail transportation services, JAC added.
