JetBlue inaugurated Thursday its nonstop service from New York’s JFK International Airport to Vancouver, its first destination in Canada. In this way, the airline continues to advance its transcontinental growth strategy.
With a flight time of nearly 6 hours and 30 minutes, the route will operate one daily flight on Airbus A320 aircraft.

“The addition of Vancouver to our route map marks an important milestone for JetBlue as our first Canadian destination,” said Andrea Lusso, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning. “We look forward to not only introducing our excellent service and competitive fares to Canadian customers, but also providing access to all of the cities we serve from New York.”
JetBlue continues to grow beyond the United States with more than 30 international destinations in more than two dozen countries. By 2022, it will offer nearly 500 daily departures from New York’s three major airports.
