The airline Lufthansa and its low-cost subsidiary Eurowings are to cancel hundreds of flights in July due to staff shortages at the airlines themselves and at airport services.

Lufthansa is to cut 900 flights in Germany and Europe from Frankfurt and Munich in July, German media report.

Lufthansa aims for 20% stake in ITA Airways.

Eurowings also plans to cancel hundreds of flights in July to stabilize its supply, EFE reported.

Many airlines and airports in Europe are currently understaffed because they cut many jobs during the pandemic due to severe flight restrictions.
