Wingo requested authorization from the Colombian Civil Aeronautics to operate direct flights between Bogotá and Valencia. This would be the airline’s second destination in Venezuela after Caracas, which has yet to resume operations.

The request indicates that the company plans to operate the route seven times a week on Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
In the same request, Wingo also requested authorization to fly between Medellín and Havana, Cuba, and seven new routes within Colombia: Bogotá – Armenia; Armenia-Santa Marta; Santa Marta-Villavicencio; Bogota-Villavicencio; Bogota – El Yopal; Bogota – Ibague; Bogota-Neiva.
