Etihad Airways announced on Wednesday the launch of the airline’s first non-fungible token (NFT) collection, ‘EY-ZERO1’.
The series features ten highly detailed 3D aircraft models, each with a unique Etihad Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner livery. A total of 2003 limited edition collectibles, symbolizing the year the company was established, will go on sale on July 21.

“We are excited to launch our first NFT collection, EY-ZERO1, which not only offers collectors, aviation enthusiasts and travelers a unique piece of art, but also provides real-world travel and lifestyle benefits with Etihad Airways. », said Tony Douglas, Group Chief Executive Officer, Etihad Aviation Group.
The purchase of an NFT will grant owners immediate Etihad Guest Silver tier membership for one year, and 10 lucky NFT holders will win complimentary airline tickets. Owners of non-fungible tokens will also get early access to upcoming collections as well as future metaverse products that the airline has planned as part of its Web3 strategy.
To celebrate the new collection, Etihad will be giving away 20 NFTs to people who pre-register at etihad.com/zero1 before July 16. Each NFT will be priced at $349 USD plus tax on etihad.arcube.io, with the sale closing on August 18.
