Iberia will operate almost a hundred charter flights in July

The Spanish airline Iberia has scheduled a hundred charter flights for this month of July, which are special operations, outside its regular schedule, and contracted for a specific route and date.

Holidays at sea, pyramids and sports

Cruise passengers are regular customers of Iberia charter flights. The airline offers throughout July two frequencies every Saturday and Sunday for MSC to Hamburg and Trieste, departure points for several of its cruises. And two other frequencies every Friday and Saturday to Bari for Costa Cruises.

Iberia receives its thirteenth Airbus A320neo.

In January 2022, Iberia returned to Egypt through the specialized tour operator SamaTravel, for whom it operates a flight every Saturday alternately to Cairo and Luxor. And so it will continue, at least, until March 2023.

Iberia has always supported sport and Spanish athletes, both in mass disciplines and those with less media coverage. Moving all of them, and their materials -especially those of the cycling and sailing team- to the Mediterranean Games was a great challenge, both on the way there and on the way back. An effort more than rewarded, as our athletes won 66 medals.

The U19 Women’s Soccer Team also traveled on one of Iberia’s charter flights from the Czech Republic after winning the U19 European Championship.

And the Absolute Men’s Basketball Team flew with Iberia for qualification for the 2023 World Cup to Georgia and Riga, completely new destinations for the airline.

In July, Iberia has also operated incentive trips to Bologna and Venice for different business groups.
