“The police have cleared the International Terminal. Airport resumes normal operations,” the airfield said in a tweet on Saturday.

The airport terminal was evacuated after San Francisco police said officers had received a bomb threat and found a suspicious package under investigation.

The airport said it has resumed its AirTrain service and that Bay Area Rapid Transit train service would restart at 6:25 a.m. local time.

The Associated Press reported that police had detained a man after the investigation.
