JetBlue inaugurates flights between Boston and London Gatwick

JetBlue inaugurated this Thursday its flights between Boston and London Gatwick Airport. This daily nonstop service is part of the airline’s strategy and long-term transatlantic growth plans.

JetBlue wins battle to buy Spirit with $3.8 billion deal.

Last year, JetBlue launched its first transatlantic service from New York-JFK to Heathrow and Gatwick, London’s largest and busiest airports. The airline plans to increase its footprint this year with new service from Boston to London Heathrow Airport, launching on September 20, 2022, and an additional departure to Gatwick from New York starting October 29.

“Our London service from New York has been an incredible success and we are delighted to finally bring this long-awaited service to our Boston customers, a route that has long suffered from the high fares of traditional airlines,” said Robin Hayes, CEO, JetBlue.
