Korean Air to resume flights to Rome and Barcelona in September
Korean Air will resume its flights to Rome (Italy) and Barcelona (Spain) from September after being suspended in March 2020 due to the pandemic. The airline has been restoring its European network and also resumed its Milan and Vienna routes in July.
Flights to Rome will resume on September 1 and will operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). Those of Barcelona will restart a day later, on September 2, with three flights per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).

“We are excited to welcome passengers to Rome and Barcelona after two and a half years. The European market is recovering faster than expected and we are seeing a strong comeback in travel demand. We will continue to closely monitor market trends and restore our remaining network accordingly as we work towards full recovery,” said Jumin Kim, General Manager and Regional Office Director of Korean Air Western Europe.
