Aerolíneas Argentinas announced that as of October it will add 5 new flights between Buenos Aires and Montevideo, increasing its weekly frequencies from 19 to 24.

This expansion will allow connections to 9 new destinations within Argentina: Ushuaia, El Calafate, Jujuy, Mar del Plata, Santiago del Estero, Santa Fe, La Rioja, Formosa and Trelew, adding to a total offer of 26 destinations connecting the whole country with Montevideo and with minimum waiting times.

Aerolineas Argentinas adds 4 new domestic routes.

In addition to domestic connections, from “Aeroparque Jorge Newbery”, passengers coming from Montevideo will be able to connect with Santiago de Chile, Bogota, Lima, Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre and Salvador de Bahia.

“This expansion is part of the work we are carrying out in the markets of the region. A robust and varied offer in terms of frequencies, schedules and connection possibilities is key to continue boosting inbound tourism,” explained Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolíneas Argentinas.

It should be recalled that, in addition to the frequencies to Montevideo, it currently operates every Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday to Punta del Este.
