Boeing delivered 35 aircraft in August
Boeing jetliner deliveries rose in August to 35 airplanes as the U.S. planemaker resumed handovers of its 787 Dreamliner after a 15-month delay.
Boeing said monthly deliveries included 27 737 MAX airplanes, two 787s and five freighters. This brought total deliveries through August to 277.

The manufacturer also reported 30 gross new aircraft orders Tuesday, including 13 737 MAX aircraft, and reported 26 net new orders, as four 737 MAXs have been booked, including two for China’s Okay Airways.
Boeing delivered its first 787s since May 2021 in August: a 787-9 to Lufthansa and a 787-10 to KLM. The two Dreamliners for American Airlines that were delivered were not yet counted as delivered because the manufacturer is performing some pre-scheduled customizations after delivery.
Boeing’s gross orders totaled 338 so far this year.
