Canada to remove all COVID travel measures and restrictions as of October 1
Canada will remove all COVID-19 restrictions for inbound travelers, as well as testing, quarantine and isolation requirements as of October 1, the government said Monday.
The decision to remove the restrictions is based on Canada’s vaccination rate, the availability of new vaccines and treatments, as well as scientific models showing that the country has passed the peak of the last wave of coronavirus infections, the government said.

Travelers, regardless of citizenship, will not be required to submit health information through the ArriveCAN application or provide proof of vaccination starting Saturday.
The requirement for travelers to wear masks on planes and trains will also be removed.
