For the third consecutive month, and despite the operational difficulties at many of the airports in Europe where it flies, Spain’s Iberia has once again topped the podium for punctuality among the continent’s airlines in August. This is according to the international consulting firm Cirium – formerly known as FlightStats.
→ Iberia will offer more flights to U.S. this winter season than in 2019.
In August, 84.5% of the 14,240 flights operated by Iberia arrived on time at their destination, making it the most punctual among European airlines.

This result reflects the commitment and effort of Iberia’s teams to face a particularly complicated summer, as a result of the situation at some European airports, which have suffered various operational problems and have even been forced to reduce and cancel flights.
The Cirium ranking also places Iberia as the fifth most punctual network airline in the world in August, as it was in June.
