This Friday, Hugo Alberto Delgado Ortega, General Director of Toluca International Airport (AIT), and Viva Aerobus executives celebrated the airline’s return to Toluca with the inauguration of the route to Merida and the reactivation of services to Cancun and Monterrey.
With the opening of these three routes, the airline will be operating 180 flights per month from Toluca, providing passengers with more than 400 thousand seats per year.

Additionally, the company recalled that in November it will also begin operating flights from Toluca to Puerto Vallarta.
“With the restart of our operations in Toluca, we mark a new stage of air connectivity for the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico. With our operations at AICM, AIFA and AIT, we are strengthening the Metropolitan Airport System in response to the growing demand in the region for the benefit of passengers. Now, travelers have the opportunity to choose where to fly from for their convenience with a point-to-point flight offer, new aircraft and really low prices,” said Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO of Viva Aerobus.
