Dominican airline Arajet inaugurated this Friday its direct flights between Santo Domingo and Monterrey, its second destination in Mexico.
The route will operate two weekly frequencies (Tuesdays and Fridays) in Boeing 737-8 aircraft, with capacity for 185 passengers, and fares starting at US$215 roundtrip, including taxes.

Monterrey is our second route with which we began operations in the country, followed by Mexico City, with which we seek to boost the transit of visitors for the benefit of economic, tourism, commercial and cultural development between both destinations,” said Victor Pacheco, president of Arajet.
In September, the airline began flights to Mexico with the route between Santo Domingo and Mexico City’s Felipe Angeles International Airport, and will begin operations to Cancun on October 14.
