Spanish airline Volotea has launched a new route linking Bilbao with Marrakech-Menara Airport. This connection, which will offer around 6,200 seats during the summer months of 2023, will start operating on May 27 with a frequency of one flight a week, on Sundays.
Volotea plans to operate 40 flights during the summer season next year and thus add Marrakech to the 14 destinations that the airline already offers from Bilbao Airport: Alicante, Athens, Coruña, Cagliari, Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca, Malaga, Naples, Porto, Rome (from April 2023), Seville, Valencia and Venice.
→ Volotea to connect Asturias with Milan and Lisbon.
The company connects the city of Marrakech with two French cities: Strasbourg and Lille and, starting in May, with Bilbao (Spain).
“We are always proud to introduce new routes and offer our customers the opportunity to travel to new countries. This new route demonstrates the latent demand for connecting medium-sized cities. We will continue to work to introduce new connections for the coming summer and to further increase the connection possibilities from Bilbao,” commented Gabriel Schmilovich, Volotea’s Chief Strategy Officer.
