After 15 years, Aeromexico will resume flights between Mexico City and Rome (Italy) as of March 25, 2023, subject to government approval, according to the company’s website.
The route will initially operate three flights per week on Boeing 787-8 aircraft with a capacity to carry 243 passengers. Starting in June, the airline will increase frequencies to five weekly.

Flights will take off from Mexico City at 19:15, arriving in Rome at 15:15 the following day. From Fiumicino Airport they will depart at 22:00, landing at Benito Juarez at 04:05 the following day.
