Arajet inaugurates flights to Medellin and Bogota from Santo Domingo

Dominican airline Arajet began flights to Medellin and Bogota from Santo Domingo this week, thus increasing its destinations in Colombia, after operating to Cali, Barranquilla and Cartagena.

The route to Bogota will operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays), while to Medellin there will be two (Mondays and Fridays).

Since its launch in September 2022, more than 60,000 passengers have experienced Arajet’s service aboard its fleet of Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The airline currently operates 18 destinations in 11 countries.

The airline offers direct flights from Santo Domingo to Mexico City, Monterrey, Cancun, San Salvador, El Salvador, San Jose, Costa Rica, Guatemala City, Guatemala, Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Medellin and Bogota, Lima, Quito, Guayaquil, Saint Marteen, Aruba, Curacao and Jamaica.
