Cirium, the specialist aviation industry analysis firm, released its annual report on the on-time performance of the world’s airports.
In 2022, Tokyo-Haneda Airport (Japan) ranked first, with 90.33% of its flights on time, followed by Bangalore Kempegowda International Airport (India) with 84.08%.
Third place went to Salt Lake City International Airport (USA) with 83.87%, and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (USA) in fourth place with 82.62%.

In fifth place was Philadelphia International Airport (USA) with 82.54%, and sixth place went to Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport (USA), with 81.95% of its flights on time.
Seventh place went to Indira Gandhi International Airport (India) with 81.84%, and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (USA) took eighth place with 81.04%.
Ninth place went to Bogota’s El Dorado International Airport (Colombia), which was the most punctual airport in Latin America, with 80.72%.
Rounding out the top 10 was Charlotte Douglas International Airport (USA) with 80.68%.
