Delta announces new route between Los Angeles and Auckland
Delta Air Lines announced Friday that it will expand its international routes with new nonstop service between Los Angeles (LAX) and Auckland (New Zealand) beginning Oct. 28.
The route will operate one daily frequency on Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

“With all-new flights this year to cities such as Auckland, Geneva and London-Gatwick, we are offering customers more options to enjoy the premium experience and elevated hospitality they know and expect from us,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning.
This route joins other new service from Los Angeles to Tahiti, Paris and London-Heathrow and will complement the airline’s existing service between LAX and Sydney, where it operates 10 weekly flights in winter and daily service to Tokyo-Haneda.
