Air Japan, a new ANA Holding airline for medium-haul international routes, unveiled Friday a selection of products and services to be introduced on its flights.
The airline plans to start operations in February 2024 on flights from Japan to destinations in Southeast Asia, complementing the low-cost offerings of Peach, ANA’s other airline, on shorter domestic and regional routes.
Air Japan will operate as a low-cost carrier and will operate Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
The cabin will be configured with 324 economy class seats made of premium Japanese synthetic leather.

ANA promises 32 inches of legroom on Air Japan services.
For added convenience for users with electronic devices, there will be USB Type A and Type C ports and tablet holders.
The cabin interior and seats were designed by British design firm Acumen Design Associates. The manufacturing was done by Safran, a leading supplier of quality airline seats worldwide.
“At Air Japan, we are dedicated to the passion of our passengers, which inspires us to create in-flight products and services to foster the innovative spirit of those who fly with us,” said Hideki Mineguchi, President of Air Japan. “We hope that the launch of these new services will create a unique and exceptional travel experience for our passengers.”
Air Japan will offer fixed-price menus that can be booked online in advance, and will also offer meals and snacks that can be purchased on board.
The first routes to be operated by the airline have not yet been announced.
