Satena began regular flights between Bogota and Caracas

This Friday, the Colombian airline Satena began regular flights between Bogota and Caracas, as part of the resumption of relations and cooperation between Venezuela and Colombia.

The flight, operated by an Embraer 145, carried 44 passengers from Bogota and lasted almost two hours.

“This commercial flight had an occupancy rate of 97%; 15 Venezuelans and 29 Colombians traveled”, stated Carolina Ruiz, commercial operations manager of Satena from the Maiquetía Airport.

The route will operate two weekly frequencies (Tuesdays and Fridays).

Flights will leave Bogota at 05:40, landing in Caracas at 08:45 (local time). From Venezuela’s main airport they will take off at 09:45, arriving at El Dorado at 10:46 (local time).
