The Dutch Caribbean Air Navigation Service Provider (DC-ANS) confirmed that the Dominican airline Arajet will continue to operate in Curaçao, Aruba and St. Maarten as normal.
Arajet confirmed the information, and explained that the conjectures published in some media regarding a possible suspension were due to a miscommunication between the regulatory entity and the airline, which has been fully corrected.

The airline explained that it has been prepaying smoothly the overflight fees to DC-ANS since its commencement of operations in September 2022. However, an additional charge for airport approach fees was billed separately and not debited from the prepaid account, and notification of that additional charge was never received by the airline, and is the cause of the communication error that led to this now superseded situation.
Arajet indicated that its team took corrective measures in its communication channel to prevent similar situations from happening in the future.
Finally, Arajet reiterated its commitment to create an air hub in the Dominican Republic that connects North, Central and South America and the Caribbean, making it a priority to always be aligned and in compliance with all the regulatory authorities of the countries in which it operates.
