JetBlue announced Tuesday that it has begun selling nonstop flights from New York and Boston to Amsterdam (Netherlands), the third European city the airline will serve, after London and Paris.
Service from New York will begin on August 29 and from Boston on September 20.

“Legacy airlines have dominated this route for decades. Our transatlantic service demonstrates how JetBlue’s entry into a new market lowers fares and benefits customers,” said Robin Hayes, JetBlue’s chief executive officer.
The flights will operate daily on Airbus A321 Long Range (LR) aircraft, which have 24 Mint Suite seats and 114 economy seats.
Fares for travelers departing from the U.S. range from $479 roundtrip in economy class and from $1,899 in the Mint Suite. Those traveling from the Netherlands can enjoy special roundtrip fares starting at €399 ($445) and €1,299 ($1,429).
