This Sunday, Aerolíneas Argentinas took delivery of two new aircraft: an Airbus A330-200 and a Boeing 737-800 freighter.
The A330-200, registration LV-KHT, landed at Ezeiza from Marana Regional Airport, located in Arizona, USA. With capacity for more than 270 passengers, this is its ninth A330 and will serve to strengthen the long-range fleet on its flights to Miami, New York, Madrid, Rome and domestic routes such as Bariloche, El Calafate, Iguazú and Ushuaia during high season periods.

The Boeing 737-800, registration LV-KHQ, is the second freighter to join the company and, after its first overhauls, it will be transferred to FADEA’s workshops in Córdoba for painting. It arrived from Dothan Regional Airport, located in Alabama, USA.
“These two additions will serve to strengthen both inbound tourism and our cargo business, two pillars of this management. Adding fleet is always good because it means that the company is growing at a good pace,” explained Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
The airline plans to add another Airbus A330 and three Boeing 737 MAX aircraft this year as part of its fleet renewal plan.
