AirAsia announces three new routes between Malaysia and China

AirAsia announced the addition of three new routes from Kuala Lumpur to China’s southern regions, cementing its position as the largest foreign airline serving the world’s most populous country.

Flights to Quanzhou will resume twice weekly (Wednesday and Saturday) from June 18, 2023. To Guilin will resume three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) on July 18, 2023 and to Chengdu (Tianfu) five times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) from July 1, 2023.

These new routes are in addition to the 15 routes already operated by the airline, with more than 129 weekly flights between Malaysia and China.

Recently, AirAsia Malaysia also resumed daily services from Kota Kinabalu to Wuhan, further strengthening its position as the most connected and capable Malaysian airline in China.

To celebrate the launch of the new routes, AirAsia is offering a 20% discount on all seats on all its flights to its 130 destinations. The promotion can be booked between May 15 and May 21 for the travel period from June 1 to December 14, 2023.
