Icelandair begins nonstop flights between Reykjavik and Detroit
This Thursday, Icelandair officially launched its seasonal non-stop service between Reykjavik (Iceland) and Detroit (USA), which will be available until October.
The route will operate four weekly frequencies (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

“Icelandair is pleased to offer a new option for travel to Detroit. Our new flights will offer business and leisure travelers more options to and from Iceland and beyond,” said Bogi Nils Bogason, President and CEO of Icelandair Group.
Passengers who wish can make a stopover in Iceland for up to 7 nights, at no additional cost in airfare, en route to their final destination.
