LATAM Airlines announced on Monday a new direct route between Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) and Lima (Peru), which will be inaugurated on November 1, 2023.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) on Airbus A320 family aircraft.
This is LATAM’s fifth direct operation between Brazil and Peru, which already has routes to Lima from the airports of São Paulo/Guarulhos (21 weekly flights), Porto Alegre (3 weekly flights), Rio de Janeiro/Galeão (1 daily flight) and Brasilia (1 daily flight).

In addition to flying to its 55 destinations in Brazil, LATAM is the airline that most connects the country with the world, with direct flights to 21 international destinations (on 28 routes operated from the airports of Sao Paulo/Guarulhos, Rio de Janeiro/Galeao, Brasilia, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Florianópolis and Fortaleza) and connecting flights to another 67 destinations in all continents, except Asia.
